HR Executive

Fast-growing Rome based startup in the travel sector is looking for an HR executive to join the Business Development team. The HR executive should display energy, enthusiasm, and approach all tasks with efficiency and accuracy. The HR executive will be very involved with recruiting and on-boarding our new Business Development Representatives all over the world and will own all files and paperwork. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast paced environment with a diversity of responsibilities. It will offer an opportunity to get involved in challenging HR tasks in a growing company.

Responsibilities:

Owns all employee documentation from on-boarding, through the employment lifecycle of the employees.
Manages recruitment, training, and applicant communication utilizing a variety of tools and platforms.
Provides day-to-day support to Business Development Reps.
Provides administrative support and data entry with day-to-day operations within various HR applications, including but not limited to new hire entries, terminations, worker’s compensation, ad-hoc reports, etc.
Assists with coordinating employee orientation, preparing on-boarding documents, create and audit new employee files.
Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
Fluent English, other languages are a plus
Excellent organizational skills and extremely detail oriented and accurate.
Basic computer skills, (MS Office, Outlook, Excel) Extra points if you are an Excel wiz.
Flexible and responsive; able to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and meet aggressive deadlines.
Ability to learn quickly and apply skills immediately.
1 – 2 years of work experience (This can include internships)
Must be flexible and comfortable with changing priorities.
Proven effectiveness maintaining confidential information.
Prior success working effectively on team
Ability to work under minimal supervision with ability and initiative to move priorities forward.
Must exhibit excellent communication skills; must be friendly, outgoing, and personable.
