The company caters to an elite clientele including owners and operators of business jets for corporate, commercial and personal air travel.

Jetex is currently seeking a General Accountant for our Rome Ciampino, Italy location.

The General Accountant shall report directly to the Station Manager and is responsible to oversee all the balancing of the Italy station’s account.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
•Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely manner.
•Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
•Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
•Maintain complete and proper filing system (softcopies and hardcopies, whichever is necessary) to support financial records;
•Coordinate with finance team in HQ to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
•Identifies and recommends best practices related to fixed asset accounting, reporting, physical inventories and other projects.

Financial Accounting:
•Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
•Entries at fiscal year-end; prepares financial records for annual auditing and reporting purposes.
•Responsible for completing assigned portions of monthly and other periodic reporting reviews and summarize data for submission.
•Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
•Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Commerce from an accredited college.

Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in general accounting and proficiency in latest accounting softwares
